Deshawn Painter Signs With The Wolfpack

A couple of days ago, we reported that Deshawn Painter was trying to decide between playing for Maryland or NC State next year. It looks like he's gonna ball for the Wolfpack. After originally signing with Florida, he requested and was granted a release from his scholarship because of concerns with playing time. Painter is talented but raw. He uses his leaping ability to clean up on the glass and block shots. If Painter can improve on his footwork down low and perimeter game, he should be a good frontcourt player for NC State.
