The Kentucky Wildcats signed Alabama PG Eric Bledsoe on Wednesday May 7, 2009. Bledsoe had narrowed his choices to Kentucky and Memphis, where Calipari coached before joining the Wildcats. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 20.3 points, 11.5 assists and 9.4 rebounds as a senior at Parker High School in Birmingham, Ala.
