With news of head coach Tim Floyd resigning from his post on Tuesday at USC, their incoming recruiting class has all but vanished. Lamont Jones and Derrick Williams have both been granted releases from the program this week. Sources say that Jones, a 5'10 170lb PG from Harlem, NY, will most likely sign with Arizona. No word yet on Williams. The 6'7 PF from La Mirada, CA, had previously considered Washington, Nevada, San Diego, Santa Clara, UAB and Marquette before signing with USC. The Trojans are down to only one recruit for the 2009 class and that's Evan Smith (6'6 SF Calabass, CA).
