Matt Kavanaugh, the 6'9, 250 lb power forward out of Centerville High School in Centerville, OH., has committed to the University of Dayton to play basketball this Fall. Kavanaugh is known for his quick reactions on the basketball court for a player his size. He always attacks his opponents in the low post and uses his body like a battering ram to get good position on the block. Once he catches it where he wants it down low -- it's over! Matt is a high percentage shooter with a nice touch around the basket. He had multiple offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Purdue during the recruiting process.
