Andre Dawkins Enrolls At Duke Early

Andre Dawkins originally was a member of the 2009 class but transferred high schools and reclassified to the 2010 class. Well it looks like he will be receiving his diploma this Friday and participate in freshman orientation at Duke next week. According to Rivals.com, the addition of Dawkins moves Duke's recruiting class to No. 8 in the national rankings. Dawkins (6'5,196lb-Cheasapeake, VA) is an excellent shooter who can score off the catch and shoot situation on a consistent basis. He has good size and a nice mid range game to match. He needs to improve his ball handling skills and his ability to get to the hole off the dribble. He chose the Blue Devils over Maryland, Georgetown, Wake Forest and Clemson.
