Ray McCallum Jr., a 6'1, 179 lb point guard at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, MI., has yet to make a decision on his school of choice for the Fall, but he could pull the trigger on a decision at anytime now. He is considering....Florida, UCLA, Arizona, and Oklahoma, or he might go play for his dad (Ray McMallum Sr.), who is the head basketball coach at the U of Detroit Mercy. McMallum is extremely poised, smart and mature -- already showing excellent leadership skills, and he's a very good decision maker for his age. He knows how to run a team while gettting all of his teammates involved. McCallum is not exceptionally quick, but he knows how to get to the rim thanks to his strong ball-handling skills. There is no question that "little Ray" will become a "big time" player on the next level.
