Roscoe Smith (6'8, 190 lb small forward out of Oak Hill Academy by way of Baltimore, MD) has committed to Connecticut for the 2010-11 basketball season. He selected the Huskies over Duke and Georgetown. UConn has inherited a player that can just flat-out shoot the cover off of the ball. In the pro-style offense that UConn runs, they like a big wing player who can stroke it and get to the rim. Smith can score from anywhere on the floor and he can match up with big guys because he has the arm reach of a 7-footer.
