Player Spotlight: SF Adonis Thomas

Adonis Thomas (6'6, 204 lb. small forward out of Melrose High School in Memphis, TN.) is a member of the 2011 recruiting class and according to espn.com, Thomas is ranked #4 among small forwards.

5in60 had the chance to check out Adonis Thomas for the first time this season as his squad was up against Memphis commit, Joe Jackson and his White Station squad over the weekend. Thomas did not disappoint us at all, he is a very good player -- he has great interior presence and great footwork around the basket. His outside shot is good, but could be the one aspect of his game that he could make some improvements upon. When White Station went on somewhat of a run at the end of the 3rd quarter, Thomas' teammates and coaches seem to have forgotten what was working for them throughout the course of the game, simply put -- Thomas did not get enough touches throughout the duration of that game.

He is being recruited by the likes of Memphis, Tenneesee, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Florida, Duke, and North Carolina to name a few. He currently holds offers from.....Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, Memphis, and Oklahoma. Whoever gets Thomas' services is going to be ecstatic.
