Maurice Walker (6'10, 270 lb. center out of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH., by way of Toronto, Ont. CAN.) has verbally committed to Minnesota for the 2010-11 basketball season. If he gets in shape and gets his body right, Walker has the power, size and talent to take control of a game in the painted area of the floor next season for the Golphers.
Maurice chose Minnesota over Pitt, Marquette, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Kansas.
