Fabyon Harris (5'10, 155 lb. out of Hyde Park Academy High School in Chicago, IL.) has given Southern Methodist and head coach Matt Doherty a verbal commitment for the 2010-11 basketball season. Harris is a speedy ball handler who is difficult to stay in front of. He can get to the lane at will and has the passing ability to dish the ball off, creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Harris averaged 26 pts, 6 dimes, and 5 boards over the course of the regular season.
He chose the Mustangs over offers from LaSalle, Nevada, and interest from Baylor.
