Calvin Newell (6'0, 185 point guard out of Evelyn Mack Academy in North Carolina, by way of Wallingford, PA.,) has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners for the 2010-11 basketball season. He has good size for the point guard spot. He shoots the ball very well and he has the speed and ball handling abilities that can help Oklahoma right away, especially with their need for a point. guard
