Steadman Short (6'9, 215 lb. power forward out of Chipola College Junior College in Fla., by way of Simpsonville, SC.) was formally committed to Marshall, but will now sign with the Ole Miss Rebels for the 2010-11 basketball season. Short has two years of eligibility remaining. He averaged 13 pts. and 8 boards per game last season.
Short chose the Rebels over Marquette and Maryland.
