Trey Burke (6'1, 170 lb point guard out of Northland High School in Columbus, OH.) has verbally committed to the Michigan Wolverines for the 2011-12 basketball season.
Burke decommitted from Penn State in May before seeing his stock rise this past summer on the AAU circuit. He chose Michigan over Cincinnati, Miami, Providence, Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
Burke averaged 15 pts, 8 dimes, and 3 cookies per game last season for Northland High School. Burke shoots the ball extremely well and he can penetrate at will -- causing problems for opposing defenses in the painted area of the floor.
