Angel Nunez, (6'7, 200 lb. small forward out of Notre Dame Prep, in MA. by way of the Bronx, NY.) has verbally committed to the Louisville Cardinals for the 2011-12 basketball season.
He follows in the footsteps of former Cardinal, his idle, Francisco Garcia, another Bronx native who starred for the Cardinals and is now in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings.
Nunez has great size and athleticism for a player his size. Nunez, the 30th-ranked small forward in the Class of 2011 according to Scout.com, picked Louisville over Florida, Miami, West Virginia and Kentucky to name a few.
