Coleman Chose Minnesota

Joe Coleman (6'3, 185 lb. shooting guard out of Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, MN.) has verbally committed to the Minnesota Gophers for the 2011-12 basketball season.

Coleman led Hopkins to its second consecutive 4A state title in March, is one of the top players, if not the No. 1 player, in the state of MN. senior class.

Coleman is a solid shooter from the perimeter and he can also score in traffic. He held offers from Seton Hall, Iowa State, Santa Clara and Colorado State before committing to Minnesota.
