Shane Larkin (5'11, 160 lb. point guard out of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, FL.) has verbally committed to Depaul for the 2011-12 basketball season.
Shane Larkin, son of former Cincinnati Reds star Barry Larkin, is one of first-year coach Oliver Purnell's most prized recruits that is set to hit campus next Fall.
The scouting report on Larkin is he's quick point guard that has no fear driving the lane but also can pull up from the perimeter.
Larkin chose the Depaul Blue Demons over UCF, USF, Colorado, Boston College and Ole Miss.
