Ryan Boatright (6'2, 165 lb. point guard out of Aurora East High School in Aurora, IL.) has now committed to UConn for the 2011-12 basketball season.
Boatright has been through adversity with his recruitment and he has now settled on Coach Calhoun and his staff in Storrs, CT. Boatright, who reopened his recruiting when USC fired head coach Tim Floyd, also committed to West Virginia in October but reneged on that commitment when the Mountaineers later landed another highly touted point guard recruit.
Boatright chose UConn over UNLV and Oklahoma.
