Tyler Will Join Georgetown

Tyler Adams (6'9, 245 lb. center out of Brandon High School in Brandon, MS.) has verbally committed to to Georgetown for the 2011-12 basketball season.

Adams initially gave a verbal commitment to Duke before re-opening his recruitment last week. Tyler is a mammoth beast. He has solid offensive moves close to the basket, and the most important thing about this big fella is that he’s not going to be out there trying to do what guards do. Tyler needs more polishing on the offensive end but if he keeps working hard he can become one of the more dominant bigs in the country for Georgetown.

Tyler also had offers from Mississippi State, Clemson, and Florida.
