Adjehi Baru Commits to Charleston

Adjehi Baru (6'9, 225 lb. center out of The Steward School in Richmond, VA., by way of the Ivory Coast) has committed to the College of Charleston for the 2011-12 basketball season.

Baru came to the United States in late 2008 and has become one of the top low post prospects in the class of 2011. While Baru is still learning as an offensive player, coaches and recruiting analysts rave about his defensive skills, rebounding ability and energy around the basket.

Baru considered Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and USC before committing to the College of Charleston.
