Jalen James (6'3, 175 lb. point guard out of Chicago Hope Academy in Chicago, IL.) has committed to Illinois for the 2013-14 basketball season.
At 6'3, James has nice size for the point guard spot. He has solid court vision and he does a good job at distributing the pill and he flourishes in the uptempo game.
Illinois coach Bruce Weber and his coaching staff landed their first commitment of the class of 2013 with the commitment from James.
