Gavin Ware (6'9, 245 lb. center out of Starkville High School in Startkville, MS.) is a member of the 2012 recruiting class and has committed to Mississippi State for the 2012-13 basketball season.
Ware runs the floor well and has the athleticism to beat most defenders down the court and he finishes strong at the rim. Ware gets good position in the paint, he can also knock down jumpers from mid-range.
He turned down scholarship offers from Alabama, Missouri and Georgetown.
