UCLA Gets An Early Commitment

The Long Beach Press Telegram is reporting that Kendall Williams is set to announce his verbal commitment to UCLA at a press conference today at 10 AM PST. The 6'2 PG out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA is ranked in the Top 30 in the class of 2010 and plays alongside Hollis Thompson (2009-Georgetown commitment) with the West Coast All-Stars during the summer. In addition to the Bruins, other schools that were high on Williams list were Arizona, Florida and Duke. Keep in mind that the kid is only a sophomore so a lot could happen between now and his senior season. I haven't seen him play but the word on the street is that he has a wet jumper and is a solid floor general.

R.I.P. to Sean Taylor. My prayers go out to him and his family as they work to get through these trying times. Stay faithful and be strong.
