Carl Jones will attend St. Joseph's!

Carl Jones, a 5'11, 155 lb point guard from Garfield Heights High School in Cleveland, OH., will attend Saint Joseph's University this Fall. This kid is a quick, athletic scoring point guard and offensively he has the total package. In transition, is where Carl really sets the tone for the game because of his quickness. He can hit the mid-range "j" with consistency, and once he gets into the lane he is able to finish with a nice floater. In the 2004 NCAA tourney, St. Joeseph's came within a couple of play's of reaching the Final Four and they were led by former point guard Jameer Nelson. Today, the 6'0 Nelson is the starting point guard for the Orlando Magic and has continued to outwork and outplay those more gifted physically. Look for Jones to be put in a position to help improve the overall performance of St. Joseph's once he steps on campus.
