Malcolm Armstead (with possession of the rock in the picture above), a 6'0, 195 lb, point guard from Florence, Al., recently completed his stint at Chipola Junior College in Marianna, FL., will begin play for the Oregon men's basketball team in the upcoming 2009-10 season. Armstead played in 35 games for the Indians during the 2008-09 season, averaging 7 points, 5 dimes, and 2 cookies (steals) per game. He also shot a team high of 52 percent from behind the arc. Armstead's speed, quickness and ability to shoot the long ball will be his best attributes as a player on the Division 1 level.
