Mississippi State has signed Wendell Lewis of Selma, Ala., to a national letter of intent. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Lewis gave teams the business with 14 points, 13 boards and 2.4 blocks a game as a senior. He earned all-state honors and was integral piece in leading his team to a 21-11 record that included a berth in the Class 5A Alabama high school tournament. Head Bulldog, Coach Rick Stansbury made this announcement in a press conference on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.
