White commits to Minnesota.

Royce White, a 6'7, 210 lb power forward out of Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, MN. will attend the University of Minnesota this Fall. This University of Minnesota-bound forward led Hopkins to an undefeated season (31-0), which resulted in a Class 4A state championship. He is physical around the basket, where on the left low block he likes to face and attack the rim along the baseline. On the right block he will also face and attack the middle of the lane and finish nicely with his left hand over the defense. Royce is a versatile player, he can make an open three with time and space when he is in a scoring rhythm especially from the top of the key or corner. Given his size and strength, White is a good rebounder on both ends but could be better.
