Australian signs with Oregon State.

Angus Brandt, the 6'10, 210 lb Center from Sydney Australia by way of Lake Forest Academy in IL., will attend Oregon State University this Fall to play basketball for the Beavers. Brandt concluded his senior season at Lake Forest, averaging 14 points and 10 boards per game while leading the team to a 15-10 record. Brandt has a nice grasp of the game and excels as a face-up big fella within fifteen feet of the rim. He has a variety of skills and is capable of stepping back and hitting the three-point shot. He is a tough player who makes very good decisions on the court, but he needs to improve his low post skills and expand his back to the basket skill-set in order to become a true inside-outside scoring threat from his position.
