Riley takes his game to Syracuse.

DaShonte Riley (pictured in the center of the picture above), a 6'11, 220 lb Center from Detroit Country Day School in Detroit, MI., will attend Syracuse University this Fall to play basketball for the Orangemen. He initially committed to Georgetown last spring, but then opted to visit two other Big East schools, one of course being Syracuse. He runs the floor well and can finish when he has a step on his defender. He is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and always seems to make his presence felt on the offensive glass with tip-backs or just keeping the ball alive. He will have to improve his focus on the court because at times, he seems to lose interest in the game that leads to him playing unaggressive for extended periods at a time.
