Harris commits to Deacons.

C.J. Harris, the 6'2, 175 lb point guard out of Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, NC., will attend Wake Forest this Fall to play basketball for the Demon Deacons. Harris, who was recruited by more than 10 Division I programs, selected Wake Forest over offers from Clemson and Virginia Tech. C.J. has a high basketball I.Q. which blends well with his exceptional athletic abilities. He has the extra gear to accelerate past defenders and penetrate inside where he can dish to open teammates, or finish at the cup. Harris has advanced point guard skills and has been well trained in the basic fundamentals. He is a stellar playmaker and is very crafty with the ball in his hands. He is a reliable outside shooter from the three point line and he can also nail the mid-range "j". Harris is an unselfish, team-oriented player and an outstanding leader. He excels in pressure situations and doesn't mind taking charge at crunch time. Coach Dino Gaudio has landed an exceptional future point guard in C.J. Harris.
