A couple of weeks ago, Noel Johnson the 6'7, 180 lb small forward from Fayetteville, GA., asked for and received his release from the University of Southern California. He has a nice looking jumper, though he is streaky with his shot. He can create his own shot off the dribble and doesn't force the offense. He is getting better rebounding and will improve with more size on his frame. He thrives in an uptempo game and has a lightning fast release. His defense needs work, though his length and size gives smaller guards fits. The Georgia native with a smooth stroke from deep decided to bolt when all of the mess surrounding Tim Floyd (which led to him resigning earlier this week) and O.J. Mayo hit the fan. Reports following his release said that teams such as Georgia Tech, LSU, UNLV and UCONN would have the best shot of landing Johnson. Check out the video below..........
