Macon Chooses Moutaineers

Elijah Macon has verbally committed to play for West Virginia. The 6'7 PF from Columbus, OH is one of the best sophomores in the Class of 2012 in Ohio. Macon's game is very raw now but he has all the tools to be a big time player if he continues to work on his game. He's most effective when scoring around the basket but if he continues to work on his jumper, he could possibly be a swingman. Macon is also good on the boards, a good shot blocker and solid defender but must work to improve his strength. He also received interest from Ohio State, Tennessee, Dayton and Penn State.
