Donte Hill, the 6'4, 185 Shooting Guard out of Norfolk Collegiate School in Virginia Beach, VA., has committed to play basketball for Clemson University this Fall. Hill averaged 20 points, 8 boards and 6 dimes last season during his senior campaign. He also had 10 double-doubles throughout the course of the season. Donte has worked hard to improved on his perimeter shooting but not enough where it has been a consistent weapon for him. He does a solid job in seeing and driving gaps getting to the rim. In transition, Donte excels -- he loves to get out and fill his lane as a wing position player, looking for the explosive play. He is athletically gifted and will fit into the Clemson full court pressure defensive system. Being a solid defender will get him more playing time as a freshman at Clemson.
