Jeremy Adams Signs With Texas A&M.

Jeremy Adams, the 6'5, 215 lb shooting guard out of Madison Central High School in Madison, MS., has committed to Texas A&M University this Fall to play basketball for the Aggies. Adams, who averaged 27 points, 7 boards, and 3 steals a contest, broke the 40 point mark multiple games during what turned into a breakout high school senior year. Jeremy is a true shooting guard who can fill it up in a hurry. He can shoot the 3-ball, come off screens, hit the "mid-range j", and he relishes each opportunity that he gets to take smaller defenders to the painted area of the floor with his back to the basket -- the bottom line is that this kid is a natural scorer. Adams will need to become a better rebounder in order to contribute in the Big 12 conference consistently. With that said, head coach Mark Turgeon and his staff love Jeremy's ability to score and knock down open shots. Adams possesses a lot of upside and will be a great fit the halfcourt sets and in transition.
