Pinkston is a Wildcat!

Jayvaugn Pinkston, the 6'6, 220 lb power forward out of Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brownsville, NY., has verbally committed to the Villanova Wildcats beginning the 2010-11 basketball season. Pinkston is best known for his power and productivity inside the painted area of the floor. He has shown a smooth shooting touch from outside with a consistent three-point range shot as well -- go ahead big fella! Pinkston was being recruited by several other Big East schools including St. John’s, Marquette, Seton Hall, and Rutgers, as well as SEC powerhouse Tennessee. In Nov. many felt that Pinkston would give a commitment to Tennessee, but that sure didn't happen. Head Wildcat Jay Wright continues to recruit extremely well from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, and the surrounding areas. The Wildcats seem to reload every year that Wright has been at the helm.
