Daniel Gomis (6'9, 220 lb. center out of The Community School in Sun Valley, ID.) is a native of Senegal, and he has verbally committed to the Oregon State Beavers beginning the 2011-12 basketball season. The scouting report on Gomis is that he is athletic, long, and strong. He dunks on people, and makes plays off the dribble like a 6-9 wing man.
Gomis was garnering interest from UCLA, UNLV, Virginia Tech and others before choosing the Beavers. In the Fall, he plans to play for prep powerhouse Oak Hill Academy.
