Gather's will enroll at St. John's

Ricardo Gathers (6'7, 240 lb. power forward out of Riverside Academy in Reserve, LA. by way of Laplace, LA.,) has committed to St. Johns for the 2012-13 basketball season.

With his physical play, he will fit in well in the Big East Conference. He is a tremendous rebounder who can clear out space for himself and others to score. He will contribute immediately in head coach Steve Lavin's system at St. John's.

Gather's selected St. John's over Texas, Arizona, Syracuse, and LSU.
