Martavious Newby (6'4, 180 lb. shooting guard out of Booket T. Washington High School in Memphis, TN.,) has committed Ole Miss for the 2012-13 basketball season.
With his size and scoring ability, making plays is relatively easy for Newby. As Junior, Newby averaged 23 pts., 11 boards, 4 dimes and 4 cookies per. outing last season.
He chose Ole Miss over Memphis, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Auburn.
