Calaen Robinson (6'2, 170 lb. point guard out of Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ., by way of Chandler, AZ.,) has committed to Arizona State for the 2012-13 basketball season.
Robinson is a true point guard that has a nice feel for the game. His penetrating ability is second to none and he is relentless in the open floor. As a Junior last season, he averaged 20 pts., 5 boards, 5 dimes and 4 steals -- making The Republic's Class 5A All-State team.
Robinson said he had scholarship offers from BYU, St. Mary's, Weber State and UNLV, among others.
