Johnnie Lacy to Providence.

Johnnie Lacy, the 5'10, 160 lbs Point Guard out of Milwaukee, WI. by way of Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg MA., will attend Providence University this Fall to play basketball for the Friars. This kid is like a streak of lighting when he has the ball in his possession -- quickness is his forte. Since he gets into the lane quite often, it would benefit him to enhance his floater, which would help him to convert buckets when he gets into the teeth of the defense without getting all the way to the rim. Perfecting the floater will prevent him from getting into the lane only to throw up wild, off-balance shots like he has done in the past. Lacy could also benefit from adding more strength and muscle to his small frame. Look for the Friars coaching staff to put the ball into Lacy's hands early and often this Fall.
