Shaquille Thomas (6'6, 185 lb. small forward out of Nia Prep in Newark, NJ., by way of Montclair, NJ.) has signed with Cincinnati for the 2011-12 basketball season.
Thomas comes from good stock being the nephew of longtime NBA player Tim Thomas and younger brother of Essence Carter, who stars for the New York Liberty of the WNBA.
Thomas has great athleticism and a solid jump shot. He should help the Bearcats immediately next Fall.
