Erik Copes (6'8, 220 lb. power forward out of Imhotep Institute Charter School in Philadelphia, PA.) has committed to George Mason for the 2011-12 basketball season three days after being released from his commitment at George Washington.
Copes is a physical presence in the paint that blocks and changes shots on the interior. He averaged 8 pts., 10 boards, and 3 blocks per game this past season.
